Manufactured in the 1950's by Daiya , this impressive battery operated  10 inch long  road roller in metallic green with a maroon Robby at the controls propels forward with moving pistons. SKY ROCKET

The Ultimate in Space Rockets!

One of the most beautiful  space ships designed  in the eraly 50's by the premier German toy company, Gunthermann. Incredible stamping quality, striking lithography, stylistic colors, and great action. Spring wound vehicle advances  on a metal track shooting upwards  complete with  composition astronaut and parachute. Original box depicts rocket in flight.

 Universe Traveller

Measuring nearly 12" long, this all tin and windup space toy was manufactured in Japan by Masudaya  during the 1950's. When wound, the original antennae swings, and the space car  runs in rotating fashion up and down the track. Hard to find toy is in almost new condition with the RARE original Box!

SATELLITE

Mounted on a metal tripod, a beautifully lithographed tin metal globe with a clockwork mechanism. Wind the globe up, release it, the Earth begins to spin, causing the attached satellite to orbit, replicating  the early sputniks. Box graphics are wonderful, a difficult toy to find as distributed primarily in Europe. (Rubber suctions cups on tripods base shows usual signs of hardening and cracking with age)

Space Frontier

This beautiful 1960's vintage toy is 18" long, tin litho and plastic, the Saturn 5 based rocket's nosecone lights up as it runs along the floor, then suddenly the rocket stops, revealing an astronaut and television camera on a folding gantry that emerges from the vehicle.

Space Whale Ship

This is such a rare find!! Manufactured in the 1950's by KO, the famous Space Whale Ship is one of the most desired tin wind-up toys ever to be manufactured. Measuring 9" long and 8" wide from whisker to whisker, the toy moves along swaying up and down as if he were in water. Then all of a sudden the big mouth opens wide and then closes as quickly as it opened. Sparks are visible from behind his head and seen through the red translucent panel. The wind-up mechanism is controlled by the antenna. A Beautiful ToY complete with it's rare box.
